Currently, the VCE Music Mastery series is the only VCE Music resource that addresses all three Areas of Study in the VCAA Study Design. Each textbook is broken down into 6 chapters - one for each Area of Study for Unit 3 and Unit 4. The textbooks provide explanations in simple, easy to understand language, worked examples with explicit metacognition strategies and a range of learning activities to practise and apply understanding of new knowledge in a variety of contexts.

The two resources are designed to work hand in hand. The textbooks contain all of the information, explanations and worked examples, as well as instructions for each of the learning activities. The student activity booklet is a spiral bound workbook for students to complete each of the learning activities, which saves time writing out notation and transcription questions, and helps to keep all completed work in the same, organised place!

Absolutely! When you get to the checkout please add a note to your order with your Purchase Order number, and select 'Offline Payment' at the payment screen. Then, email your Purchase Order to hello@breakthroughmusic.com.au and you will receive an invoice to pay upon receipt of your order. Please note, payment terms are 14 days from receipt of products.

All order will be shipped via Australia Post using secure, recycled materials.

Shipping is a flat rate of $20 for orders within Australia. Express shipping is available for a flat rate of $25. Larger orders may incur additional shipping expenses.

Once your order has shipped you will receive a tracking number via email. This can be used to track your delivery through the Australia Post website. If you can't find your tracking number or haven't received an email, please get in touch and we will follow up.

For in stock items, orders will be dispatched in 1-2 business days. Items on pre-order will have estimated shipping dates on the product page. Delivery times are controlled by Australia Post. Refer to the 'How to use this book' page at the beginning of your book. This will give you specific instructions, including a password, to access the audio tracks for your purchase. These tracks are available to stream via the website or download as .mp3 files. It is suggested you download these for easy reference.

Each textbook also has a Teacher PDF - a digital file that provide information to help with planning and using the resources in your classroom, advice on delivery and potential points of confusion for students, and of course, the answers to the learning activities. To access the Teacher PDF, you must create a Breakthrough Music account. Once this is completed, send an email to hello@breakthroughmusic.com.au and your account permissions will be updated as a registered teacher for the resources you've purchased. This way, you'll have lifetime access to the teacher resource page for your chosen study.

Creating an account is not necessary to make a purchase via Breakthrough Music, or to access the audio tracks that accompany the textbooks. An account is required, however, for teachers wishing to access the Teacher PDFs and resource pages. Creating an account also allows you to see your order history and receipts.
